This album won't leave lovers of quality rock unmoved. It is just so

THE KNOCKOUTS
– AMONG THE VULTURES is something
rare; highly addictive songs that fuse rockabilly technique with the
unstoppable force and heart of cocky punk rock, in a unique way that
we've never heard before!
With faith in Punkrock since 1996. Johan Frandsen (lead vocals/guitar),
Ted Jergelind (drums) and Ken Stone (upright bass) creates the missing
link between the Stray cats and Green Day - incredible musicians,
astonishing songwriting, good looks & extraordinary live
performances!
The singer, guitarist & frontman Johan Frandsen, also played
with
world famous rockabilly band The
GO GETTERS. His guitar playing gave
them an extra injection of energy in over 300 gigs world wide. Head
lining the well known Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender, playing with
members of the Stray
Cats, Guana Batz, Mad Sin and more, are just a few
things worth mentioning.
Endorsement deals from Jam Music and Peerless Guitars sees a trademark
white guitar appear on stage and during the summer of 2009 THE
KNOCKOUTS have been on the festival bill with SOCIAL DISTORTION,
THE
LIVING END among others and have played sold-out shows all
around
Europe.
AMONG THE VULTURES,
was recorded and produced in 6 days at The Panic
Room, Skara, Sweden.
“… This album won't leave lovers of quality rock
unmoved. It is just so
tight, intense, messy, expressive, powerful,
explosive…” Supporting THE
LIVING END on their first
Scandinavian Tour Date for the Raise the
Alarm World Tour – in Stockholm Sweden. The band is screaming
headlong
into multiple high energy gigs with their 2010 tour
scheudle
including Scandinavia, Europe and USA.
The KNOCKOUTS will be setting up the boxing ring and looking to see you
soon. The rockabilly roots and cocky punkrock attitude just keep
heating up into a slick, fat sound that will ensure these guys become
massive....
Watch out, These boys play it HARD
and play it LOUD:
So prepare to be
Knocked Out!.
